The tray sits flat and is structurally sound. The face carries fine swirl scratching throughout, with a circular buffing pattern at the center. The pattern is consistent with machine polishing at some point in its life. I have not established the method, and the original surface is not intact. A small dark spot sits on the face. There is warm toning at the high points of the rim and around the feet. I have not established whether this is tarnish or wear through the plating to the base metal, so please check the rim and feet in the photographs. The marks are crisp and legible. Overall, this is a used antique tray with honest polishing wear and no damage to the form.

Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of this description.
