Antique Louis XVI Style Brass Rose Swag Furniture Mount

These are cast brass garland mounts, three roses linked by acanthus leaves and small blossoms, with a pierced eyelet at each end. They were made to be fixed onto furniture or a case as applied ornament, though I can’t say what these ones came off. The rose swag is Louis XVI vocabulary, which French makers kept producing long after Louis XVI. This is one of three identical mounts.
Aged patina throughout, as found and not polished. The front is brighter at the high points of the roses and leaves and darker in the recesses. The reverse is rough and granular with casting seams and a sandy texture, which is how the piece was made and not damage. I see no cracks, no repairs, and no bends to either eyelet. The mounts are non-magnetic.
Photographs show all three mounts together. Each is sold individually, and the patina may vary slightly from one to the next. Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of this description.
