Antique Louis XVI Style Carved Wood Mirror - Pair

A matched pair of small oval wall mirrors in carved brown frames, each topped with a lidded urn and scrolling foliage. They hang well as a pair, flanking a fireplace, a doorway, or a bed. The carving is a late 19th century French take on Louis XVI, with a gadrooned border and a beaded edge around the glass.
Antique condition consistent with age. The mirror glass is assessed as original to the frames. The finish shows light wear consistent with age, including some rubbing to the high points of the carving.
One mirror has a visible separation running through the frame. It crosses the gadroon band, the beaded inner edge, and the outer beads, with a slight offset at the carved band. The second mirror does not have this. Please look closely at the detail photographs of this area.
The backs show age wear, including a darkened rough coating around the rim of the backing panel and scraps of printed paper adhered to the panel.

Shipping & Returns
All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
Furniture is the exception. Because of size and weight, furniture shipping is quoted separately rather than calculated at checkout. Send a DM on Instagram or email austynmariedesign@gmail.com for a quote, or arrange your own shipping from the warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
