The painting is in fair to good condition consistent with its age and unframed storage history. The canvas is stable on its stretcher with no visible tears or structural failures. The paint surface shows moderate overall dirt accumulation and varnish yellowing that obscures the palette, particularly in the sky and water areas, which would respond well to careful cleaning. Scattered small paint losses are visible in the lower left corner near the signature and along the bottom edge where the canvas meets the stretcher — typical wear for an unframed canvas of this period. Some additional minor losses are present at the upper canvas edges. The backing paper shows significant water staining and deterioration, but this does not appear to have penetrated through to the paint layer. The stretcher is sound. The verso inscription and provenance label are intact and legible. Sold as found, unframed, with all verso documentation in place

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
