Miniature brass longcase clock novelty or paperweight, English, early 20th century. The form is precise enough to be satisfying: swan-neck pediment, arched hood, Roman numeral dial with hands, trunk door with diamond lozenge engraving, and a shaped plinth base with a fleur-de-lis cartouche. It stands on a folding easel back and sits comfortably on a desk or shelf. The seller dated it to circa 1920, consistent with the Birmingham brassware novelty trade that produced this type of piece from the 1890s onward.
Good condition for age. The brass carries an honest patina with overall tarnish and light surface scratches on the trunk, consistent with a century of handling. The folding easel stand is intact and functional. The hinge pivot is present and holds the stand in position. No visible bends, losses, or structural damage. The dial detail and engraving on the trunk and plinth are crisp and well-preserved.
