Antique English glass cream jug in the form of a miniature milk churn, the pressed glass body with horizontal ribbing fitted with a silverplate hinged flat lid, wire bail handle, and side clip closures that lock the lid shut. The churn silhouette is the thing — a deliberate novelty, the kind of dairy-inspired tableware that was popular on English breakfast and tea tables around the turn of the last century, when miniature farm forms turned up in everything from biscuit barrels to sugar sifters. No marks anywhere on the mount, which is consistent with unmarked English EPNS production of the period. The lid and bail mechanism function correctly.
Good antique condition. The glass body is free of chips, cracks, and losses. The pressed ribbing is crisp throughout. The silverplate lid, bail handle, and wire clip closures are all intact and functional — the lid opens, closes, and locks as intended. The silverplate shows light surface wear and minor patina consistent with age, with no significant plate loss. No marks anywhere on the mount.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
