Living with Antiques gathers the best of The Magazine Antiques into a room by room tour of American collections, photographed in the homes where they actually lived. Alice Winchester edited the magazine for over three decades, and her eye shows throughout. The book moves from Maryland and New York through Salem, Newport, and Milwaukee, documenting how serious collectors of the mid-century arranged early American furniture, ceramics, and art in real interiors. The quarter binding pairs a tan cloth spine with rose paper boards, and the heft and trim size make it as much a decorating reference as a coffee table piece.
The binding is sound and the text block tight. The rose paper boards show soiling and handling marks across both covers, most visible on the back. The tan cloth spine is clean with the gilt publisher's device at the foot still legible. There is an owner inscription in ink on the first page. The interior pages are clean and bright with the black and white plates crisp throughout. A solid, presentable copy that displays well.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
